Hens in General
The Hen (or Rooster) is the 10th animal in the Chinese zodiac. Hen people have a keen sense of observation and like to be noticed and flattered. It is not easy to fool a Hen and they make good trouble-shooters. They are conscious of their appearance and what they wear.
Hen Strengths
Funny, witty, brave, enthusiastic, efficient and honest. A Hen person is very intelligent, a good thinker and has an excellent memory, alert and organised. They are intelligent, entertaining and strong willed but generous to friends. Hens are clever at finance, confident and outstanding performers. They make great hosts and enjoy entertainment. They always keep their promises.
Hen Challenges
Hen people are boastful, easily critical and have strong opinions. They are notoriously picky and easily misunderstood.
Hen Prosperity in other Animal Years
Hens crow their heads off in Hen, Ox and Snake years, but their spirits are dampened in Rabbit, Horse and Rat years.
Hen Compatibility
Best love match: Ox - will love how you make them feel, as they adore getting your attention. And you'll love their intelligence and knowledge of all things racy.
Probably best to avoid: Rabbit - you could eat one for breakfast - no challenge there.
And compatibility with the other signs?
Dog - an affectionate lover who will try to live up to your expectations. You're the loser if you don't see their worth.
Pig - you share a love of the good things in life. But you want to be out on the town, while little piggy stays at home.
Rat - a sexy, on-off pairing. They keep you guessing. You keep them up to scratch. There's just no time for boredom.
Tiger - a flamboyant pairing of two colourful characters. Don't tear one another apart through jealousy or distrust.
Dragon - you're both volatile, aspiring, combative, sexy. Fights are all right - but hugs and kisses are better.
Snake - outwardly a cool customer, this lover is almost as exacting as you. Woo them, win them, feel the heat!
Horse - born to run, this lover runs a mile if you're too repressive. A fling is more likely than lifelong loving. And yet ...
Goat - this lover seems to good to be true, with so much to give - but be prepared for emotional dependency.
Monkey - an interesting pairing fired by mental attraction. Lots of fun - and frustration - as you test each other's mettle.
Hen - Devastatingly attractive, sexy, self-assured (and that's just you!). A clash of the Titans, or a love sensation.
The Sexy Hen
Wimps watch out - you're a sassy sexpert who knows what you like and where to get it. With lovers you can be the hottest show on earth, sizzling with exciting new suggestions and endless energy. You love being in control in your lovemaking and you don't mind if your partner occasionally bows out through sheer exhaustion (in fact, you feel it only goes to show how incredibly sexy you are). But what you do hate are goody goody partners who don't offer much challenge, or overly independent lovers who won't tolerate your real need for 24/7 togetherness.
But there is a prize for putting up with your clinginess: some of the most passionate and exciting loving around.
How to Catch a Hen
Look good - a Hen can spot a Gucci label at 500 paces. And don't back away when they suggest dinner, breakfast and a weekend away all in the same breath. Once in the bedroom, take time to tease and please them before taking your own pleasure. It'll prove to them that you are certainly worth the effort, and they'll just want to hold on to you for life.
