    Symbolism & Meaning
Paua is the Maori name given to a group of shells also known as Abalone. Revered by tribes throughout the world as a magical gift from the ocean, Paua/Abalone shells are fished and farmed on a well-managed and sustainable basis. It is believed that Paua Shell strengthens the structure of the body and the functions of the Heart Chakra. This vibrant shell has also been connected to family, particularly motherhood and harmony in relationships; the energies of Paua Shell are said to give protection and emotional balance.

Robins are symbols of good luck, happiness and rebirth. The well-known phrase "When robins appear, loved ones are near" alludes to the belief that the Robin is a messenger. When Robins are seen, some people take comfort that loved ones are at peace and many believe that their lost loved ones are visiting them. In Celtic folklore the robin is known as the Oak King of Summer.
