RETURNS, REFUNDS AND ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY

Ordering and paying for items on this website constitutes a contract of sale.

1. Right of Withdrawal / Order Cancellation

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, which came into effect on 13th June 2014, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. The withdrawal/cancellation period will expire 14 calendar days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party (other than the carrier) and indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods.

To withdraw from the contract you must inform us by email at enquiries@astralaspects.com that you have changed your mind, you will then have a further 14 calendar days in which to return the items. We will acknowledge your change of mind request by email, which will include full returns instructions, a return-by date and a returns label - please do not return any items until you have received this. However, if you have not opened your parcel you may simply mark it "Return To Sender" and post it back to us, otherwise you will have to pay the return postage.

Items must be returned to us by the given return date and in the same condition as when they were received by the customer in order for a refund to be given. Refunds will be made following satisfactory inspection of the item/s - Astral Aspects' decision is final.

Return postage is the responsibility of the sender not Astral Aspects. If the sender does not affix sufficient postage to the return package resulting in Astral Aspects having to pay a Royal Mail surcharge in order to retrieve the returned items, Astral Aspects will deduct this surcharge from the refund.


1.1 Exclusions to the Right of Withdrawal

The following items are excluded from the right of withdrawal and may not be returned:
- Earrings and Toe Rings, in compliance with current Health & Hygiene regulations.
- Jewellery whose 'Do Not Remove' barcode security tags have been removed or tampered with and/or jewellery which has been worn, i.e. smells of cigarette smoke or perfume. If you do return such items, a professional cleaning charge equivalent to 25% of the item price will be deducted from your refund.
- Cellophane shrink-wrapped/security sealed items where the cellophane shrink-wrapping/security seal has been opened, torn, defaced or tampered with.


1.2 Effects of Withdrawal

We will reimburse all payments received from you for the goods purchased. Delivery charges include picking and packing and are therefore non-refundable. In addition, as stated in the EU Consumer Rights Directive and Distance Sellling Regulatons, if the consumer has paid for a premium delivery service the trader needs only refund the amount that would have been charged for the least expensive type of standard delivery - our least expensive type of standard delivery is free. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction. We will withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back.

Note that you must send back the goods by following the instructions given in the Returns Authorisation email no later than 14 calendar days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning these goods. You may be liable if the value of the goods returned diminishes due to the handling of the goods (except when it was necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods).


2. Faulty Items/Shortages

Any shortages or problems with your order must be notified to us by email within 24 hours of receipt.

In the unlikely event that your items are faulty upon receipt, you must notify us of this by email within 24 hours of receipt. We will then advise whether you need to return the items for refund or exchange or instead email us an untouched/unsampled digital image of the fault.

You are deemed to have legally accepted your items by keeping them, after you've had a reasonable time to examine them (i.e without notifying us of any defect or fault within 30 days). We have no control over what customers do with items or how they treat them once received, therefore a refund/exchange of goods cannot be made after 30 days.
