SUNDAY 18TH - SATURDAY 24TH MAY 2025

		Page of Swords - An important document, contract or letter could be on the way, but you should check it through carefully as it may contain accidental or deliberate mistakes. Alternatively, someone may be gossip-mongering or doing some double-dealing. Your ability to observe and perceive allows you to discern the not-so-obvious. This card may represent a person who features in your life right now. They're very clever, calculating, strong-willed and rather aloof. They might also be aggressive.
		5 of Pentacles - You will attract people with whom you have more in common or who mirror your experience. You will long to be with the one your heart yearns for - no other can take their place or fill the void, and try as they might, others will not succeed. Drop any preconceived notions or expectations in romantic matters because your hopes will not be realised. Concentrate on business, trade or commerce because those areas will prosper.
		The Page of Wands - You will take stock of your life and analyse issues from a different angle, but you will think about things, instead of actually doing them, until the right moment to act approaches. Pursue philosophical or intellectual hobbies, work, or lectures and get things settled or down on paper up front. That way there won't be any unpleasant surprises, and you won't end up sabotaging yourself. You will fear that you and your lover are not going to get together or that, even if you did, it would just be a superficial relationship with no real depth or giving of yourselves.
		The Hanged Man - This card represents change, but is usually an alteration in mental attitude rather than physical circumstances. You are in some kind of limbo. You may have to bide your time while you wait for one chapter in your life to end and a new one to begin. For instance, you may be in the throes of a divorce, longing for it to be completed so you can start life afresh. Whatever your current circumstances, you should be patient and use this time for careful reflection. There may also be valuable lessons to be learned. You need to look at life from a different perspective. This often involves viewing it from a more spiritual angle and placing less emphasis on material possessions and values. This card could appear when someone wants to give up a well-paid job and follow a vocation, in which case the sacrifices involved will be worthwhile.
		8 of Swords - New freedom will be found through resolving restrictive conditions or getting out of an oppressive commitment. You will be feeling restricted or boxed in by particular a relationship, but you are actually in a protective (spiritual) box so you won't be diverted from your higher purposes. Don't blame yourself for the faults of others. Walk away or say no.
		8 of Pentacles - You should make the most of your potential and could turn particular talents into money. This might be pin-money or it could be the beginning of a satisfying career that draws on your creative or artistic abilities. Provided you are prepared to expend a lot of effort and practical ability, you'll be able to build up a career that will be emotionally and financially satisfying.
		8 of Cups - You have reached a turning point. There are changes on the way in a relationship. This could be a romantic link, a business alliance or a friendship that has reached a natural ending. You feel that it's time to move on to pastures new, even though this may involve making painful decisions and having to hurt someone you care about. This marks the end of one chapter in your life and the start of a new one; an ending will lead on to a beginning.
		Strength - This card has a very simple message - it signifies strength of purpose and of will. When it appears, it's telling you that you have much more force than you realise. This may be brute strength and sheer physical stamina, in which case it's a marvellous card for someone who is sporty or athletic. It is also a good card for someone convalescing after an illness or feeling depressed, because it shows that your strength will return. Alternatively, the card may refer to mental or emotional endurance, telling you that you have the courage, determination, staying power and sheer guts to be able to cope with your current challenges and eventually win through.
		Death - You are going to have a new direction, focus, or plan. Everything you are experiencing at the present time is going to change, and something you thought was a lost cause will be reinstated or will begin to flourish again. A relationship is going to come to an end (if it hasn't already), but your love for that person will continue to burn like a lone candle in the window of a deserted home. Let go of situations that no longer serve a purpose in your evolution. If you try to pursue them, you will advance, only to have to pull back or find that you have no one around to help or guide you.
		6 of Pentacles - You will feel insecure about the success of a current venture and uncertain about how to proceed in the future - but these negative feelings will be short-lived. You will be wishing or hoping a lover will call or come by. Follow through with your original decision and be willing to defer instant gratification.
		10 of Swords - A new job assignment or complicated work project is going to begin, which will totally engross you. Romantically, though the worst is over, anguish will continue because you won't be able to bury the past or start anew. You will vacillate between do I want it or don't I, and the moment you try to pin anything down or make a firm decision, it will change. Come to terms with what is, but turn away from negative thinking patterns or habits and look for alternatives. Learn to have more faith in what can't be seen but nevertheless exists.
		The Hermit - You will begin to see the light at the end of a very dark tunnel, and the future will start to look much more promising. Don't strive to overcome a situation or force a resolution. Take a modest or reticent approach with dignity and unassuming grace. An old flame or romantic interest will re-enter your life, but you may still be strangers.
